About Us

At Brady Academy we work with families to ensure the education, practice and enjoyment of Irish Dance is affordable, fun, and a positive experience specifically tailored to each dancer’s needs.

Our mission is to share our love for the traditional art of Irish Dance and music through our experiences in a supportive and friendly environment. All dancers, from beginners to champions, are instructed and encouraged to gain confidence through performing, competing, or just dancing for the love of it!

In the last 20 years, our dancers have achieved great success in the competitive arena. Some of their accomplishments include: North American Solo and Ceili Champions, New England Regional Titles, and Traditional Set Titles. Additionally, we have dancers who have medaled internationally at the All Irelands and the World Irish Dance Championships.

Instructor Brendan Brady

Brendan Brady TCRG, ADCRG

The Brady Academy was founded in 2005 under the direction of Brendan Brady TCRG (Certified Teacher) and ADCRG (Adjudicator). Brendan is a former World Champion and holds various titles which include: The All Irelands and All Englands Dance Championships. Brendan began teaching in Galway, Ireland and now wishes to keep Irish dance tradition alive in the Squantum area of Quincy, MA. He is registered with An Coimisiún le Rincí Gaelacha in Dublin, Ireland. He is also a member of the Irish Dance Teachers Association of New England and North America.

Meghan Healy, TCRG

Meghan first discovered her love of Irish dance at the age of four with the Forbes School of Irish Dance. After a short break, she continued her journey with Clifden Academy, where she not only found success as a Champion soloist but also discovered the joy of being part of Ceili Teams. Those team experiences—working together, building friendships, and celebrating shared accomplishments—remain some of her most treasured memories.

In 2012, Meghan joined Brady Academy, where she found the perfect place to share her two greatest passions: teaching children and fostering teamwork through dance. She believes the heart of Irish dance lies in community, and she takes great pride in helping dancers learn, grow, and create lifelong bonds with one another both on and off the stage.

Meghan’s dedication to children extends beyond dance. Meghan holds a double major in Elementary Education and Liberal Arts from Emmanuel College, a Master’s degree in Math Education from Lesley University and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Elementary Leadership from American International College. She currently is an Assistant Principal at Squantum Elementary School in Quincy, where she brings the same encouragement, energy and love of learning that she shares in the studio.
In May 2016, Meghan successfully passed her TCRG exam, becoming a member of CLRG, the Irish Dance Teachers Association of North America (IDTANA), and the New England Region (NER). Meghan is also a member of the New England Region Executive Board. She feels fortunate to be part of a vibrant dance family and looks forward to continuing to inspire teamwork, confidence, and a lifelong love of Irish dance in her students.
